On Wednesday 21 March, some of our young parents made the journey with with their children to Boyescroft to have afternoon tea with our residents there. Boyescroft is one of our Sheltered Housing schemes in Great Dunmow.

A lovely afternoon was had by all, with lots of yummy cakes and conversation, as those attending found out about the lives from both end of our Supported Housing spectrum.

It was a lively afternoon, with our youngest resident (9 months) entertaining us all with his singing. The children who attended were all given a little knitted Easter chick made by one of our residents at their knitting club.

This is a great example of inter-generational resident involvement and due to its success, we will continue with events such as these across all of our sheltered accommodation and young people schemes.

Thank you to everyone for attending and especially to our infant residents, who were not only a credit to their parents but to the Swan team.
