Our housing services include strategic provision of support, working in partnership with clinical commissioning groups and Primary Care Trusts; supported living schemes, including older persons, young people and those with learning disabilities; in addition we provide a range of community and in-home support.

At Swan we support younger people aged 16-25 through our Foyer services which provide accommodation and support to achieve their transition to independence. Young people coming into our schemes are people who have experienced significant challenges in their young lives such as experiencing a family breakdown, leaving the care system, being at risk of or even being homeless.

Pete Morely-Watts, Swan’s Director of Care and Support has scooped the ‘Housing Professional of the Year’ award at the prestigious 24 Housing Awards and the Housing Essex Excellence Awards. Pete, who has worked for Swan since 2015 has had a significant impact on the lives of many vulnerable people throughout his career. He is also dedicated to being the best manager he can and recently became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management.

Swan Housing Association has today welcomed Julia Lopez MP to Heather Court Foyer to celebrate achieving formal Foyer Federation FOR Youth accreditation. The accreditation celebrates the quality of the service Swan provides to the young residents who live at the Foyer in Harold Wood, Romford.
